Usage: Used for the freezing of bacterial strains, stored at -80 ºC~-10 ºC.
After special treatment, the beads have dense concave holes on the surface that can adsorb bacterial strains; The preservation solution contains low-temperature protectants, which can reduce the impact of ice crystals on bacterial strains during freezing and thawing.
1. Freezing method:
1.1 Mark the name of the strain and other information on the tube before use;
1.2 Open the screw cap of the cryopreservation tube under sterile environment;
1.3 Use sterile cotton swabs or inoculation rings to scrape fresh and pure cultured bacterial colonies from non selective plates into a liquid strain cryopreservation tube, tighten the bottle cap, shake evenly, and prepare a bacterial suspension with a turbidity of 3-4 microns. At this point, the concave hole of the ceramic bead will adsorb bacterial solution.
1.4 Use a sterile pipette tip to remove the remaining bacterial suspension from the cryopreservation tube and tighten the lid. The remaining bacterial suspension should be sterilized under high pressure.
1.5 Store the inoculated strain in a freezer at -20 ºC or -80 ºC.
2. Recovery
2.1 In a sterile environment, open the bottle cap and use a sterilized inoculum rod or tweezers to remove a ceramic bead. Close the bottle cap and store it at low temperature as soon as possible.
2.2 Use the inoculation ring to move the ceramic beads and draw lines on the solid culture medium, or place the ceramic beads in a suitable liquid culture medium for cultivation.
Storage conditions and shelf life: 2-8ºC,2 years
Waste treatment: All test materials containing bacteria should be placed at 121 ºC and sterilized by moist heat for 30 minutes before being processed according to the prescribed treatment method.
