Usage:
Used in analysis of beryllium in drinking water and waste water etc.
Features :
1.Quick and easy
Operating in accordance with the instructions, users can complete the beryllium test independently without specialized training. 5 minutes is enough to complete the analysis of one water sample.
2.Accurate and reliable
Determination results with this method are in accordance with the results with the standard method. It can be used as an alternative method to the standard method.
3.Quantitative packing
The kit can be used for 50 times. It is small, light and easy to carry.
How to use?
Beryllium Test Specification
1.Fill a clean test tube with sample to the 15-mL mark.
2.Add 1mL Beryllium () Reagent to the tube, swirl to mix.
3.Add the contents of one Beryllium () Reagent to to the tube, cap the tube and swirl to dissolve, stand for 3 minutes.
4.Add the contents of one Beryllium () Reagent to the tube, cap the tube and swirl to dissolve, stand for 15 minutes.
5.Place the tube in 1 cm above the blank of standard card, compare the color from top to bottom, the standard color level has the same color as observed from the tube shows the concentration of beryllium in the sample.
Notes:
1.The Sample pH: 4.0-7.0, temperature: 20-35 .
2.When the concentration of fluoride in sample reaches 2.5 times to one of beryllium, the sample should be preprocessed (According to HJ/T58-2000).
3.In step 3 and 4, swirl slowly to avoid forming foam.
Q1: When doing hardness testing of water samples ,why color keep unchanged after adding 100ml of water ?
A1: The hardness of the water sample may belong to low hardness,it out of testing range range of reagents, lower hardness reagent is recommended to be used.
Q2: When doing ozone or other testing of for water samples, the longer time, the deeper the color, and why?
A2: Because the containing DPD reagent may react with the air oxidation, it is proposed in strict accordance with the test instructions, to control the reaction time.
Q3: Why the water sample shows pink after adding DPD ozone reagent ,and then faded to become colorless?
A3: The reason may be that the concentration of ozone in the water is too high, dilution is recommended before testing.
