Principle:
Under weakly acidic conditions, nickel ions form a red ternary complex with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol and a surfactant in the water sample. The color of the solution gradually changes from yellow to orange-red as the nickel concentration increases.(PAN method)
